The PSAPI concept depends on continuous stakeholder input and access to appropriate and accurate information. The stakeholder element in the structure therefore is important and falls into two parts. Firstly, there are the stakeholders whose expertise and experience cover the core elements of the PSAPI partnership. These are the relative Business Associations; The key International Conservation NGOs; The international donor community; The principal responsible departments and agencies of the Government of Tanzania; The multi lateral and international entities actively coordinating anti-poaching efforts; And of course TPSF itself.
In addition to the institutions whose responsibilities are widely encompassing are those of a more focused nature. Most important of these are the component entities, each aspiring to provide a particular service and will each therefore possess unique elements and will as a result each have its own specific requirements in terms of technical support.
